Last week’s call was a bad one!
It cost me about 10k (reduction of the longs + the 30% IWM Short).
My port is basically flat for the week, so not much damage.
I saw Copper and Aluminum in the Quad 3 space, which is a mistake (I referenced backtests from 3Fourteen Research and did a Backtest on Materials in Quad 1-2 and they are clearly not a sign of a dangerous market!).
The weakness of the QQQs, was offset by cyclicals, the sector rotation was positive, not negative.
Those process learnings belong to the game. No reason to be stubborn here, understand the mistake and correct!

I lift the 30% IWM hedge and will be 80% long going into the end of the week.

Does that mean copper and/or aluminum should be more of a quad 1-2 signal rather than quad 3? Or do you mean materials in general should be quad 1-2 and not 3?
